FiskarsForum

Launched in April 2012, the revamped website of the conference venue, located in Fiskars Village, showcases the facilities and recreational activities available on the grounds. The experience gained from the previous website, which boasted a life cycle of five years, provided a sound basis for creating the new site.

Koti Fiskarsista

Attracting new residents, the beautiful Fiskars Village is expanding. The sale of new plots was launched in March 2012, and so was the website supporting the marketing efforts and illustrating the way of life in the old ironworks village.

Huolintatalo

Fiskars Museum

Celebrating the culture of the ironworks, Fiskars Museum is a living local museum run by professionals. The new Drupal-based website, launched in December 2011, is an information and marketing tool illustrating the spirit of the museum - the items may date from days past, but the activities are contemporary. Fiskars Village

A popular tourist destination as well as the home of the orange scissors, Fiskars Village is a lively centre of Finnish art and design. The website was revamped using Drupal and launched in September 2011. We aimed at an elegant, easily maintained long-term solution catering for many kinds of users. Special attention was paid to responsiveness.

Test World

Wizards in winter testing, Test World is based in Ivalo, Lapland, with clients from all around the world. The website was made using Drupal.

When it comes to hospitality, Fiskars Wärdshus (est. 1836) is a true classic. Their Drupal website is more contemporary, with easy navigation and large, delicious pics playing a key role. Hungry? You will be.

URBA - Future Concepts of Urban Housing

URBA, or the Future Concepts of Urban Housing, was a three-year research project by YTK, the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies at the Aalto University. Made with Drupal, the website presents the project and its results, and provides public access to the materials created by the researchers.

The old schoolhouse in Fiskars Village is being renovated by the TAKO association as a vibrant course centre for arts and crafts professionals. Made with Drupal, the website can be extended along with the operations of the centre.

Pantterimedia is a media company owned by the journalist Susanna Niinivaara. The website contains a growing collection of articles and columns as well as Susanna’s blog, which focuses on Russian affairs.

The Cooperative of Artisans, Designers and Artists in Fiskars

The website of the Cooperative of Artisans, Designers and Artists in Fiskars was launched in summer 2009. Exhibitions play a key role in the operations of the cooperative, and so does the site.
